School Closure on 02/03/2026

Dear MSE Families,
Due to ongoing hazardous weather conditions, all MSE schools and offices will be closed on Tuesday, February 3nd, 2026 for the safety and well-being of our students, families, and staff.

Y-Care and all MSE activities and events scheduled are canceled.

Thank you for your understanding and patience as we prepare for inclement weather.

The safety of our students, staff, and families remains our highest priority, and we will continue to use the most current weather information available to guide any operational decisions. Memphis School of Excellence plans to provide another update on Sunday.

Executive Director's Message

Dear MSE family,

We welcome you to the 2023-2024 school year with great pride and excitement. As we look forward to another year of learning, we are recommitting ourselves to the success of every student and hope that you will join us in making MSE the finest system it can be. We all have a role to play in building a successful school year – students, faculty, parents, and staff. Our handbook is intended to help us understand how we can contribute. MSE lays out our expectations for how we can all work together to give our students the best education possible. However, we can’t do it alone. We firmly believe that when students, faculty, staff, and parents are all working together, there is nothing we can’t achieve as a school system.

We ask our parents to review the entire school policies and procedures with their students and keep them as a reference during this school year. Parents or students with questions about the expectations should contact their Principal. Most of all, I hope you will find a way to grow more involved with your school and campus community.
